Montrose RV Resort
We are open year around, all sites
have 30 and 50 amp hook-ups plus free cable and free wireless internet.
We fill propane tanks and have a dump station. We also let people come take
showers for $5.00 (hunters, etc). We have a heated pool that is open seasonally.
We also have laundry facilities and clean restrooms. All our sites are
level, some are 75 feet long. We have 4 log camping cabins.

U.S. Forest Service
Campgrounds
The Ouray Ranger District offers campgrounds in
the Cimarron area, Ouray and the Uncompahgre Plateau west of Montrose. Some
campgrounds require a fee. Not all campgrounds provide potable water, showers
or R.V. hookups. Campgrounds have a 14 day camping limit except for
Amphitheater Campground which has a 7 day limit. Pets must always be on a
leash. It is highly recommended visitors wishing to visit the National Forests
surrounding Montrose purchase an appropriate map.

Black
Canyon National Monument
Campsites have parking pads, fire pits and tables.
Wood gathering is not permitted, so campers should bring their own wood or
charcoal. Campsites available on first come/first served basis. Camping fee $7
per night. Campground open approximately May 1 - November 15.

National Recreation Area
There are seven campgrounds located east of Montrose via Hwy 50.

Ridgway
State Park
Over 250 R.V. campsites feature electric hookups, water, fire rings, grills
and tables. Walk-in tent sites offer quiet seclusion in two areas. Camper
services buildings located in each campground offer showers, laundromat and
playgrounds. Full-service marina, beach, hiking trails, evening programs and
more. Colorado State Parks Pass required.
