Curecanti National Recreation Area


Blue Mesa

 Three dams comprise the Curecanti Storage Units: Crystal Dam, Morrow Point Dam, and Blue Mesa Dam. Of the three, the beautiful Blue Mesa provides recreational opportunities. The largest body of water in Colorado offers summer travelers excellent fishing, camping and boating, while winter enthusiasts enjoy ice fishing and snow-mobiling.
