Fishing

Hidden within canyons 2,000 feet deep to high mountain landscapes at over 10,000
feet, the lakes and rivers throughout the region are anything but an ordinary
"fishin' hole." Yellow perch, large mouth bass, Kokanee salmon and
some of the best stretches of blue ribbon trout fishing await. Some areas are
accessible year-round for ice fishing during winter. From full service marinas
and guided tours to on-foot approaches, a vast array of fishing services and
experiences are available.
