The Montrose Antique Trail
Montrose offers a diverse and entertaining array of antique shops to suit every
taste and budget. From the smallest vintage collectible to finely crafted
antique furniture, Montrose has it all! Just follow the Montrose Antique Trail
and discover the treasures that await! A detailed brochure complete with map can
be found at the Montrose Visitors Center in the Ute Indian Museum or at the
Visitor Center at the Chamber of Commerce.
Magic Circle Theater
Local Award Winning Community Theatre for “Excellence in the Arts”
Established 1959
Montrose is home to one of the areas finest community theaters. The Magic Circle
Theater presents at least five productions for adults each season as well as
several children's productions. The theater is located at 420 S. 12th Street.

and richly inspirational Montrose area. The San Juan Mountain Range, the Grand
Mesa and the Uncompahgre Mountains which encompass the Grand Valley draw a rich

Featuring growers, producers and artisans from the Western
Slope, conventional and organic. Locally grown fruits and veggies, meats
from grass fed animals, eggs, herbs and perennial plants, cut flowers, handmade
soaps and body products, wine tasting and sales, prepared spices and condiments,
breads and bakery items, jewelry, etc.
Community tents available to non-profit organizations; weekly
entertainment includes chef's demonstrations and tastings, art shows, music
groups and dance exhibitions, judo, tai chi, etc.

Montrose Community Band
The Montrose Community Band exists to promote music in the community through concerts and other performances and to support the musicians in the community by providing performance opportunities. New members welcome.

Valley Symphony Association
Quality Classical Music for over 30 Years in Western
Colorado's Uncompahgre Valley. This year, we will again celebrate the marvelous
talents of our own accomplished musicians from the Western Slope of Colorado in
both choral and orchestral works. There will be pieces to suit every interest
and taste throughout the season! This diverse group of musicians allows us to
feature an interesting selection of music and bring to you the opportunity to
hear some pieces that are not often performed - but are delightful nonetheless!

In the former Denver & Rio Grande Train Depot at the corner of Main and Rio
Grande.

The Ute Indian Museum & Ouray
Memorial Park
One of the few museums in the country devoted solely to one tribe; the Ute
People were the indigenous inhabitants of western Colorado. Two miles south of Montrose on Hwy. 550
and Chipeta Drive - now also home to the Visitor's Welcome Center. Open
year-round.

The Cimarron Railroad Exhibit
Located within Curecanti National Recreation Area,
20 miles east of Montrose, just off US Highway 50. The Visitor's Center and
